- Business Insider reports that unlike Microsoft, which has offered employees the opportunity to work from home indefinitely, Google believes some positions need to be office based. - Here’s one of the best “net/net” summary of great thinking articles I’ve seen all year—and you know I read constantly, so this high praise goes to Ryan Holiday for his “33 Things I Stole from People Smarter Than Me” Medium post.
- While this advice to “Make Before You Manage,” (“borrowed” from Ryan Holiday’s list, see above) is definitely great for creative types, I think it applies to anyone managing people who has work to produce themselves too. It’s originally from the master of time management and creative workflow, Tim Ferris.
